Welcome to newtonclass.com

This web site is for the use of my students at Westdale Secondary  School and their parents.  It is my hope that this site will enable  students to keep track of assignments and due dates and will provide them with valuable supplementary resources to class work. Parents can  see what kind of work is being done in my
classes and my productions, as  well as browse the assignments their kids are currently working on.

Sincerely,
Ms. E. Newton

Why take Dance, Drama and Musical Theatre?

Participation in the arts, quite simply, fosters a sense of community.   There is a place for everyone in the performing arts, it is the ultimate exercise in differentiated instruction.  You can't sing? Dance? You can't dance? Act. You can't act? Build? You can't Build? Design......you can see where I'm going with this!  Everyone is needed, wanted and appreciated in the arts. Go Team!
