GED MATH, What you should know!
GED Math Syllabus.
To take you gently by the hand and lead you through GED mathematics without invading your privacy. This class is a on-going class, which means you can start it at any time. It is also a self-study class. You have a book and more importantly you have someone to guide you and answer your questions.
- Your progress is determined by you --- not other students.
- Your situation and skill determines what steps you take. The more you know the less you have to learn!
- By email or phone my task is to get you past the bottlenecks.
Requirements:
- A PC with an Internet connection and browsing software installed such as Opera, Internet Explorer, or Firefox.

- This course is taught in English, so the requirement is to be able to read & write English at a 6 grade level.
- Your enrollment fee provides up to 6 months usage of this course.
- You, not I, are responsible for your success or lack thereof!

Objectives:
- Be able to add, multiply, subtract, and divide using integers, fractions, and real numbers.
- Be able to use a graph.
- Be able to perform algebra required on the GED.
- Understand word problems.
- Understand geometry!
- Be able to do ratios, proportions, percentages,interest and probability.
- Develop some strategies tha help you answer questions on the GED Math test.
Course Goals
- Teach you the necessary math.
- Teach you how to answer the necessary questions.
- Explain the math that doesn't make sense.
- Explain math shortcuts to getting the right answers.
- How the average student goes wrong.
- Why you won't be the average student.

Grading Policy
The course grading policy is based on your completing the lessons. There is no time requirements other than you enrolled for six months of access to this course for your fee.
You are expected to learn and participate in the course. The assumption is that you can learn. That with practice and solving problems the skills will become part of you. I would love for you to be able to do that all at once! It just doesn't happen that way. I don't want you to beat your head against the wall when you come across something you don't understand. Just email your questions so I can explain it to you. By the time you complete GED MATH you will know the vocabulary, question types, solutions, and have the skill to select the correct answer.
